Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is Unilever Ghana Ltd (“the Promoter“).
  2. The promotional competition is open to all Ghanaian residents in possession of a valid identity document all Ghanaian residents over the age of 18 years.
  3. The promotional competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. By participating in this competition, participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at Unilever Ghana, Tema Factory Heavy Industrial Area, Ind / A /2 /3A-4, Tema. Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.
  5. All personal information (‘Personal Data’) supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
  6. This promotional competition is open from the 30th May 2018 and ends at 12am (midnight) on 20 July 2018. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ULTIMATE PLAYER

  1. To enter the competition, participants or contributors will be required to purchase; one 200ml spray one 50ml roll on from any of the selected stores and would be presented with a unique coupon which is for a single transaction.
  2. Participants (player) must dial *380*5#, enter the unique code and follow the prompts to register.
  3. *A unique coupon or code is either for the ultimate player or fan not for both hence for a single entry*
  4. Participants must enter their correct contact details. If a Winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner in terms of the rules.
  5. The coupon must be retained as a proof of purchase.

 

THE PRIZE:

  1. The Ultimate Player Prize – Train at Chelsea FC and play against the Chelsea Legends: The winner will join the Africa 11 and also will win an all expense paid trip to London.
  2. The Ultimate Fan Prize – The winner of this prize will win a trip to London.
  3. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or transferable.

 

SELECTING THE ULTIMATE PLAYER

  1. Participants will be engaged at different hub levels in all the regions in Ghana (limited entries per hub). Participants will undergo different selection process at each hub and will be selected based on the coach’s mechanics.
  2. Participants will then be selected to participate in a structured skills competition-taking place across each hub. The coach on ground and independent judging panel if available, will assess, evaluate and make the final decision based on performance on the day.
  3. The skills programme at the hubs is from the star coach. Each player will go through elimination based challenges such as Dribbling, Shooting, Tackling, Defensive Behaviour and Penalty Shoot-Out.
  4. Two (2) participants will be chosen per hub by the judges to play in the Finals.
  5. The participant who wins in the finals will be the ultimate Player to join the Africa 11 team to train at Chelsea FC and play against Chelsea Legends.

 

PRIZE DETAILS FOR ULTIMATE PLAYER

The Prize includes:

  1. To train at Chelsea FC and play against the Chelsea Legends, under the supervision of qualified Chelsea coaching staff
  2. Return flights from a Kotoka International airport to London Heathrow
  3. Transfers from London Heathrow airport to the hotel on arrival and back to the airport on the day of departure;
  4. Minimum 2-night stay in a standard room at 3 star hotel selected by the Promoter

SELECTING THE ULTIMATE FAN

  1. Participants will be engaged on Rexona Ghana facebook page weekly to qualify for the ultimate prize.
  2. Questions on Chelsea FC and the brand (Rexona) will be uploaded every Friday between 2pm to 5pm. Participants are required to  answer fast and correctly.
  3. Winners will be announced on Fridays 5pm after each session on Facebook and on the game application.
  4. Five (5) winners will be selected based on timely and correct answers.
  5. Participants who wish to participate subsequent weeks will have to buy again one 200ml spray one 50ml roll on from any selected stores and would be presented with a new unique coupon.

          *PS: One coupon is entitled to one entry.*

  1. All winners from each week will compete in a final round of questions following the same metrics.
  2. The participant who wins in the finals will be the ultimate fan Winner.

The Prize includes:

  1. Win a trip to London for a Chelsea FC experience.
  2. Return flights from a Kotoka International airport to London Heathrow;

  4. Minimum 2-night stay in a standard room at 3-star hotel selected by the Promoter.



GENERAL

  1. Winners are required to be 18 years and older to qualify.
  2. The Prize Winners will be required to provide their name, ID number, Copy of their Identity Document, contact details.
  3. The Prize Winners will be notified telephonically where they will be required to verify their details.  The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavour to contact the Prize Winners once every day for 5 consecutive working days after their name is drawn.  If the Prize Winners cannot be contacted during this period, the Prize will be forfeited and another Winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.  
  4. Prize Winners will be required to sign an indemnity form.
  5. Prize Winners must be in possession of a valid Ghanaian Passport and have no known reasons why they are not eligible to apply for a United Kingdom tourist visa or would not qualify for one.
  6. The Promoter will pay the fees for the UK Visa.
  7. Hotel and flights and tours are subject to availability at time of booking.
  8. The Winner must be in possession of a valid passport with expiry dates no less than twelve (12) months following the date of return to Ghana.  If the Winner does not meet this condition, the Prize will be forfeited and another Winner may be selected in accordance with the above rules.
  9. The Promoter will be responsible for arranging the required visa for entry into United Kingdom. The Winner bears all risks associated with any refusal of entry into United Kingdom.  No compensation will be payable if a Winner is unable to use the prize (or any part of it) as stated for whatever reason.
  10. Should the Winner be unable to redeem the Prize during the specified dates, the Prize shall be forfeited and another Winner may be selected in accordance with the above rules.
  11. The Prize excludes:
  • Passport costs (should the Prize Winner not have a valid passport), personal expenses while in the United Kingdom such as laundry, telephone, mini-bars, travel insurance, luggage insurance, and gratuities.
  • The Winner will need to arrange their transport to/from the nearest international airport in Ghana on their departure date and when they arrive back in Ghana.
  1. A full itinerary for the Prize will be supplied to the Winner. Any additional expenses outside of the prize will be for the Winners own expense, and anything, including but not limited to any meal, activity, transportation, additional excursions, accommodation and all other costs and arrangements which are not included in the itinerary will be for the Winner’s expense.

 

GENERAL

  1. The Winner will be required to sign an Indemnity and Media Release forms.
  2. A copy of these rules can be found on the Rexona Ghana Facebook page throughout the competition or can be obtained from the Consumer Call Centre on telephone number 0303218247.
  3. Failure to claim the Prize or a refusal or inability to supply required documentation or comply with any of the competition requirements within 1 month will disqualify the Winner and a new Winner will be selected in terms of these rules.
  4. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  5. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotion that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  6. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
  8. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
  9. NOTE: Any attempt to use multiple emails, cell phone or Facebook accounts or other tactics to enter or vote more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void. Entries or votes generated by script, macro, bot, commercial contest subscription, incentives or other means not sponsored by the Promoter, vote-swapping sites, voting software, entering service sites or any other automated means and entries or votes by any means that subvert the entry/voting process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these competition rules, will void the entry/votes and may disqualify the entrant.
  10. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is not transferable.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images/film footage taken of the Winner for publicity purposes/television programmes, in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the Winner. However, the Winner has the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at Unilever Ghana, Tema Factory Heavy Industrial Area, Ind / A /2 /3A-4, Tema. Att: Legal Department.
  12. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
  13. In the event that the Prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize of equal value.
  14. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant or the Winner.
  15. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
  17. This promotional competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any Telecom in Ghana and the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to telephone networks.
  18. All participants in this competition release their Telecom numbers from all liabilities and claims arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment.
  20. Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and stories that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  21. Participants agree that by uploading their “images” and/or stories, they grant permission to the Promoter to use the images or stories or any part thereof, in any and all media for promotional / marketing purposes with no consideration payable to the participants.
